Workday Payroll Analyst
Remote | Permanent/ FTE | $85,000 - $110,000 + Bonus
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday Payroll Processing Analyst to support ongoing payroll operations, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, and assist with system enhancements and configuration within Workday.
The company have a well-structured Payroll team and are able to offer excellent training and development. This is a key role for them as they look to add an individual with excellent Workday experience who can help advance and streamline their processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and validate end-to-end payroll cycles in Workday, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Maintain and update payroll data (earnings, deductions, taxes, employee records) while performing audits, resolving discrepancies, and troubleshooting issues.
- Support and monitor payroll-related integrations, data flows, vendor files, and configuration or business process updates within Workday.
- Prepare payroll reports and analytics for HR, Finance, and leadership, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Participate in testing for Workday releases, upgrades, year-end activities, and collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Benefits, IT, and other partners.
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll.
- Experience troubleshooting payroll issues within Workday.
- Familiarity with Workday tools such as Calculated Fields, EIBs, reports, audits, and BPs.
- Ability to work independently and meet payroll-critical deadlines.
