We are partnered with an established Workday customer within the logistics industry that is seeking a Workday HCM Consultant with specialist experience in the payroll module to work closely with their HRIS and Payroll teams.

This role will focus on configuring, optimizing, and supporting Workday US Payroll functionality to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing. The successful candidate will have strong Workday Payroll expertise, hands-on payroll processing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and technical teams.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize the Workday Payroll module to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to implement functional payroll solutions.
• Support payroll testing cycles, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system defects.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and implement payroll best practices within Workday.
   

Essential Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience configuring Workday US Payroll.
• Prior hands-on experience processing payroll within Workday or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across HR, Finance, and technical teams.

The organization has 100% of their employee population based in the US and this project is strictly focused on US Payroll. The project will offer a long-term contract working as part of their internal team supporting them with expert knowledge to ensure the system is optimized.
