Workday HCM Consultant – Advanced Compensation

We are partnered with a medium-sized company within the aviation industry that are actively looking to implement Workday Advanced Compensation functionality.
The organization has a strong internal Workday team but requires an experienced consultant who has previous experience supporting organizations to design and implement Advanced Compensation functionality. The company is looking to design some innovative solutions and wants a consultant that can own this project for them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test and implement Workday Advanced Compensation, including Merit and Bonus programs.
- Partner with HR and Compensation teams to gather requirements and implement effective total rewards solutions.
- Support testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects related to Advanced Compensation functionality.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices within Merit and Bonus programs.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience with Workday HCM, specifically within the Advanced Compensation module.
- Strong knowledge of Merit and Bonus processes within Workday Advanced Compensation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with HR, Compensation, and technical teams.
This contract offers the opportunity to work closely with a variety of leaders across this organization, supporting them to make a meaningful impact on the business by implementing key functionality. They require an individual that can truly understand their organization and then advise, design and implement the best practice for them. Their initial timeline for implementation is 6 months but will require some additional support through till the end of 2026. There are then a range of processes being run through Workday in early 2027 that may require this consultant to extend, giving this the potential to be a 12-month assignment.
