We are partnered with a Higher Education organization who are about to start their Workday HCM & FINS Implementation. They are in the process of hiring numerous positions as they want to build an experienced and proactive team of Workday professionals ahead of the project.

They are seeking a Workday Financials Manager to join their team who will absorb responsibility for the Workday Financials suite and be the Subject Matter Expert for this area. This will be a people management position, and you will help support the growth and development of the team. This role will be their Workday Financials Architect, who will progress into people management and will have 5 direct reports once the team is fully formed.

Key Responsibilities:

• The design and configuration of business processes across the FINS Suite, including FDM, Core Accounting, Supplier and Customer Accounts.
• Regularly communicating with high-level executives to provide recommendations, advice, and solutions on Workday configuration needs.
• Create and maintain a variety of Reports, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite.
• You will be assisting with Security configuration, although there will be a dedicated Security Lead.
• A key responsibility will be managing and mentoring a team of 5 analysts. You will also assist with building out this team.

Requirements:

• 4+ Years Workday Financials configuration experience.
• A minimum of  2 years of management or mentoring experience is essential.
• Experience in translating Finance/Technical language for these leaders.
• Experience working for a Healthcare or Higher Education organization.
• You must demonstrate successful ERP implementation experience.
