Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant

Remote | contract

We are partnered with an established organization enhancing its Workday HCM environment and are seeking an experienced Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant to support the design, configuration, and delivery of Advanced Compensation functionality.

This role will focus on optimizing compensation processes; including merit, bonus, and stock cycles, while ensuring the solution aligns with business needs and best practice. The company have been using some functionality but are struggling to maximize the efficiency and innovation that Workday can provide.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and optimize Advanced Compensation (merit, bonus, stock/equity).
  • Gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Build compensation plans, eligibility rules, guidelines, matrices, and business processes.
  • Support end-to-end compensation cycles, including testing and issue resolution.
  • Advise on best practices and introduce functionality the business may not yet be using.
  • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
     

Essential Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Strong configuration, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work closely with HR/Comp/Finance stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting testing cycles and compensation events.
