Workday Absence Consultant

We’re partnering with a national organization in the early stages of their Workday journey, currently implementing Workday Absence. They’re seeking an experienced Workday Absence Consultant for a temporary engagement, with specialist expertise in designing, configuring, and delivering Absence Management functionality that aligns with business goals and enhances process efficiency.
The ideal consultant will have deep hands-on knowledge of the Workday Absence module, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with technical and functional teams across HR, Payroll, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, and optimize the Workday Absence module in alignment with business requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather needs, recommend best practices, and implement effective solutions.
- Support testing cycles, troubleshoot issues, and manage resolution of Absence-related defects.
- Create documentation, develop training materials, and facilitate knowledge transfer as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience configuring and supporting the Workday Absence module.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to recommend and implement functionality enhancements to maximize system value.
