Benefits Analyst
New York, NY, USA | Permanent/ FTE | $85,000 - $110,000 + bonus
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Analyst to support and enhance their employee benefits operations using Workday. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact HR function while helping optimize our Workday Benefits processes from an end-user standpoint.
The role will be heavily focused on using Workday to support the business and employees to get the best Benefits experience. They are seeking an individual with hands-on experience in Workday that can support the company to enhance their Open Enrollment process, enhancing this to ensure a best-in-class product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer daily benefits operations in Workday, including enrollments, life events, terminations, and data accuracy checks.
- Serve as the primary Workday Benefits support contact for employees, resolving issues and guiding users through system processes.
- Run, audit, and maintain Workday reports to support compliance, payroll deductions, and vendor reconciliation.
- Support annual open enrollment, including testing configurations, preparing communications, and assisting employees with system navigation.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and vendors to troubleshoot benefits issues and improve Workday processes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, HR operations, or HRIS, with hands-on Workday end-user experience.
- Strong understanding of benefits programs, eligibility rules, and enrollment workflows.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential employee data accurately.
- Strong communication and customer support skills, especially when assisting employees with Workday.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with HR data and reporting.
