Workday Payroll Consultant 

We’re partnered with a global retail organization currently undergoing a major Workday Payroll transformation. They are seeking a Workday Payroll Consultant to assist with key payroll processing, compliance and system optimization. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders across the business to develop Workday Payroll operations.

• 6-month initial contract
• Remote
• 40 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP

Job Description:

• SME in Workday Payroll configurations, testing, and post-implementation support
• Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to troubleshoot payroll issues and optimize processes
• Assist with payroll compliance, audits, and reporting requirements
• Configure payroll processing rules, tax settings, and earnings/deductions within Workday
• Support payroll integrations, testing, and end-to-end processing

Qualifications / Experience:

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Workday Payroll
• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll compliance and tax configurations
• Experience working with payroll integrations and troubleshooting payroll discrepancies
• Proven track record in testing payroll processes and conducting payroll audits
• Workday Payroll Certification is highly desirable
